UB Equestrian
About Us
The UB Equestrian team is a permanent club at the University at Buffalo through the Student Association.
We are open to all UB undergrad students, with or without prior horse experience. We would love to encourage new faces to get involved with horses and we have multiple opportunites to members who are not looking to ride.
Meetings: Every other monday unless stated otherwise in Room 306 of the Student Union - subject to change
We have no tryouts for the show team, anyone who would like to ride and take lessons or show may do so as they please. We have opportunites for both English or Western riding.
Our Team competes in the Hunter Seat division of Zone 2 Region 1 at Intercollegiate Horse Show Association shows in New York. We compete against many schools such as Cornell University, Alfred University, Nazareth College, Binghamton University, Ithaca College, Hobart & William Smith Colleges, Hamilton College, Rochester Institute of Technology, St. John Fisher College, and College at Brockport
